“My voice, our equal future“
At the heart of the worldwide pandemic is an education crisis. 20 million girls are at risk of never returning to school. With this in mind, we are celebrating International Day of the Girl to amplify girls’ voices and stand up for their right to quality education.
This year’s theme, “My voice, our equal future” promotes standing with adolescent girls to assert their power as change-makers who can ignite transformation at home and in their communities. This too is the basis of our work in some of the most neglected areas of India and Cambodia.
Now more than ever it is important that our scholarship recipients stay connected to their educational goals and that families do not give up. In support of this, the LO board has pledged $15,000 in matching funds. Every dollar you donate will be matched.
