This school-based program feeds morning porridge and a hearty lunch of rice, dal and vegetables to 173 school children from the poorest of poor village families. Garden of Peace provides a free Holistic education influenced by such great educator philosophers as J. Krishnamurti and leaders like Mahatma Gandhi. Garden of Peace grew 12 crops this year, mostly fruits and vegetables and recently began producing their own organic stone ground coconut oil.
